'Minecraft' adds keyboard and mouse support to iOS with 1.19.10 now available - TouchArcade

Mojang and Microsoft have a new Minecraft ($6.99) update after the major version 1.19 Wild Update that arrived recently. Minecraft version 1.19.10 has many fixes, reduces duplication, locates biome command capabilities, and a whole host of new improvements. The highlight of the update for mobile is keyboard and mouse support on iOS. It took a while to appear, but the team finally released it in the public version today. Keyboard and mouse support works well in the time I tried with the update today. I used my Apple Magic Keyboard and Logitech MX Anywhere 3 mouse which were both connected to my iPad Pro via bluetooth. See a screenshot of the settings below:

Full patch notes for today's update are here. If you haven't played the game in a while, we have two brand new biomes in the form of the Deep Dark and Mangrove Swamp. The new mobs are the guard, allay and finally the frog. If you haven't played Minecraft for a while now is a great time to jump in with such a major content update and now keyboard and mouse support on iOS. Hopefully Microsoft will announce a mobile port of Minecraft Dungeons because that sure looks like it would be great to play on the go.
